Ghost is a bold, style-driven pickleball brand that blends athletic performance, playful character, and vintage-inspired design across gear, apparel, and accessories.

Project Overview
The client approached us with the name Ghost and a vision for a modern pickleball brand that could extend across paddles, apparel, bags, hats, and accessories. Our goal was to build a flexible identity that felt distinctive, energetic, and recognizable both on and off the court.
Research & Strategy
We began with competitive research across the pickleball, racquet-sport, and athletic-apparel markets. Many competing brands relied on either highly technical performance graphics or bright, playful patterns. This revealed an opportunity to create a brand that balanced performance credibility with a more stylish, lifestyle-driven personality.
Creative Direction
The final direction combined vintage sports influence with a bold, contemporary edge. Deep navy, warm cream, and saturated orange established a recognizable color system, while stitched details, flowing patterns, and premium materials gave the applications a cohesive, elevated feel.
The Ghost wordmark was designed with sweeping movement lines that suggest a ghost gliding through space while also reflecting the speed and motion of gameplay. The client also wanted a clean, standalone symbol that could work independently across smaller applications, including paddle details, embroidered patches, hats, sleeves, bags, and accessories.
Brand Execution
The identity was developed as a complete merchandise system rather than a logo applied to individual products. The visual language was extended across:
- Pickleball paddles and paddle graphics
- Performance shirts and sweatshirts
- Trucker hats and embroidered patches
- Court and travel bags
- Towels, wristbands, and supporting accessories
- Lifestyle and campaign photography
Final Result
The completed brand system gives Ghost a strong, flexible identity that feels athletic, playful, and highly ownable. The combination of the expressive wordmark, simplified ghost symbol, movement-inspired linework, and consistent color palette allows the brand to remain recognizable across a wide variety of products and future applications.
